I've been making kombucha off and on for years. So when I saw the size of the scoby I had received I was questioning was it really big enough to make a gallon of kombucha? I thought well Ceanne knows what she's doing and proceeded to follow the instructions. It's been almost two weeks now and it's doing great. Thanks Ceanne!

The starter pack arrived promptly. I was afraid I had killed my scoby by adding it before my tea was cool enough, but surprisingly it seems to be forming a new scoby, so perhaps I simply have not waited long enough. I'm ordering another to try again, and am also following the instructions in the book to grow my own from this existing batch. Be sure to read the instructions first and let your tea cool completely!

I have been a customer for about a year, and have always had superb service and excellent products from them. I'm sure this was simply operator-error.

This is my first SCOBY and first time attempting kombucha. It has been in first ferment for 8 days. It is forming a layer at the top for a SCOBY baby. I plan to taste soon (10 days given the time of year) and will move on to second ferment. I am happy so far with it. It was delivered quick and arrived beautifully packaged.
