First, I made a carrot cake, second, I made the tea. I might say that they rather both taste very similar and if you love carrot cake I think you will be quite pleased! Gluten-free and processed sugar-free carrot cake in your cup! Win! Win!

This sweet honey bush tea base ( a cousin to red rooibos) lends perfectly to the raisin, carrot, and nutty maple flavors. Real organic carrots dried here on our farm make this one beautiful cuppa flavorful tea. Available in Full Size (3 oz) bag.

Color & Flavor Profile:  Brew's up a pretty golden amber cuppa with a hint of spice and sweet maple flavor.

Ingredients:  Organic Honeybush, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Ginger, Organic Carrots, Organic Nutmeg,  Oregon Grown Hazelnuts, Organic Raisins, Organic Stevia Leaf, and Organic Extracts.

Carrot Cake Iced Latte


Ingredients

Syrup

  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ¼ cup Farmhouse Teas Harvest Carrot Cake
  • Pinch flaky salt

Latte - makes 1

  • 1-2 tbsp homemade syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • 4 oz strong brewed coffee
  • 6 oz dairy-free milk
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Make the syrup by combining all of the ingredients into a small saucepan over medium low heat. Bring to a simmer and remove from the heat. Let cool completely, about 30 minutes, then strain the syrup. 
  2. To make the latte iced, place the syrup in your serving glass along with the brewed coffee and stir. 
  3. Fill the cup up with ice, and top with dairy-free milk of choice. Stir and enjoy! 
  4. Note: to make this latte hot, simply steam your dairy-free milk and pour fresh into the brewed coffee and syrup! 

For Hot Tea: Steep 1 tsp per 6-8 oz up of water (212°) for 7-10 minutes for best results. If icing use 2 tsp per 6-8 oz cup.  

For Iced Tea: Steep 2 tsp per 6-8 oz up of water (212°) for 7-10 minutes for best results. Pour over ice.
