    Herbal tea (Root based) - Steep 1 tsp of tea per 6-8 oz of boiling water (212° F) for 7-10 minutes for best results.

    “Not Coffee” Mushroom Hot Cocoa

    Ingredients:

    • Steep 1 tsp of Mushroom Not Coffee Tea per 6oz of boiling water (212° F) for 7-10 minutes
    • 6oz Whole raw milk, Coconut, Soy or milk of choice
    • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
    • 2 Tbsp semi sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (dark or milk)
    • Heavy cream (optional)

    Directions:

    Step 1: Steep 1 tsp of Mushroom Not Coffee Tea per 6oz of boiling water (212° F) for 7-10 minutes.
    Step 2: Heat milk in a small saucepan slowly, being careful to not boil. Turn off heat once bubbles begin to form on the surface & add sweetener of choice, cocoa powder and chocolate chips or chopped chocolate. Stir with a rubber spatula until smooth & creamy. Add strained tea to chocolate mixture & stir.
    Step 3: Make Whipped Cream (if using). Add cream to a cold bowl (glass or metal) and whip until soft peaks form. Top mugs with whipped cream & some chocolate shavings.
    Step 4: Assemble Mugs: pour chocolate tea mixture into mugs & top with whipped cream & chocolate shavings, if desired. Enjoy!
