Herbs are legally sold by the ounce but often we get asked how many cups are in a bag.

This herb has an approximate average of 5 cups per pound.

Dried elderberries can be:

  • Steeped into teas or blended with other botanicals
  • Cooked into jams, jellies, pies, and baked goods
  • Simmered into syrups or cordials with honey or sugar
  • Added to wines or liqueurs for traditional brewing
  • Blended with warming spices for cozy, seasonal recipes

As an Alkaline Vegan I can no longer drink Black Tea, which I enjoyed very much with dried figs. After many years of failed attempts to find a replacement tea, elderberries was the answer! 3 cloves, 1 star anis, and 1 tablespoon of Farm House Tea's elderberries steeped for 15 minutes. This tea is smooth, tastes great and compliments my dried figs better than the black tea. AT LAST 😊!!!!!
