Gingerbread Latte

Ingredients:

2 shots freshly pulled espresso
1–2 tsp Gingerbread Spice Herbal Loose Leaf Tea
8 oz milk of choice
¼ cup boiling water (for steeping)
Toppings: Whipped cream, ground cinnamon, and cinnamon sticks

Directions:

1. Steep the Gingerbread Base

Place the loose-leaf gingerbread tea in an infuser or small heat-safe vessel. Pour ¼ cup of boiling water over the leaves. Let it steep for 5–7 minutes to create a potent gingerbread concentrate. Strain and set aside.

2. Prepare the Espresso

Pull your two shots of espresso into your favorite large, heat-safe mug.

3. Combine and Swirl

Pour the strained gingerbread tea concentrate into the espresso. Stir gently to combine the flavors.

4. Steam and Pour

Steam or froth your milk until it is hot and creamy. Pour the milk over the espresso-tea mixture, holding back the foam until the end to top the drink.

5. Garnish and Serve

Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick for stirring.

Pro Tip: Because you are adding a bit of water to steep the tea, use extra-creamy milk (like whole milk or oat milk) to keep the latte's body rich

I have been drinking this delicious blend for a couple years now. I drink 4-6 cups of farmhouse tea daily. 4-5 of those being the herbal teas. Drinking this I feel like I’ve avoided getting colds that others have had in my house. I love the flavor and it’s perfect for the holiday season and winter in general.

I can't drink regular tea, so I am always looking for good herbal teas. I found Farmhouse Tea right around Christmas and I have loved everything I have tried so far. This tea is so good - like having a gingerbread cookie in your cup :) I drink it without sweetener, but it definitely is even better with some creamer and sweetener.

Spicy, smooth, and comforting.

This tea has just the right amount of spice to bring out the ginger aroma, with a sweetness and depth that's unusual in a lot of blended winter teas. My husband particularly loves a mug of this when coming in from the cold. It makes the whole kitchen smell cozy.

I had been searching online for a replacement of a tea I had purchased called gingerbread cookie, which is no longer made. I ordered several different gingerbread teas and this is by far my favorite. You only need one teaspoon per cup of water to steep. This tea has a perfect combination of flavors and is not overly strong on the ginger. I actually combine it with a bag of vanilla chamomile tea and it is delicious. They were kind enough to send me two samples of other teas…….. harvest carrot cake, and apple cider Fixin. I like them so much, I ordered them right away for Christmas. I love the fact that they are organic and feel they are very high-end herbal teas. Check out the selection of herbal teas they sell….its huge!

Strong ginger

Overall this was a great tea... I did get more notes of ginger than vanilla, cinnamon, or clove. I was hoping for more of a balance here.

I first received this tea as a little single sanpler when i had made another purchase. The tea not only smelled super fragrant like i had made fresh ginger bread cookies but also tasted wonderful. I am so happy i was able to purchase more of the gingerbread spice tea. It is a very warming comforting tea. As with all the products i have tried from Ceann and her family,i recommend this.
