Traditional English and Irish Christmas desserts are brought to your cup with this fruity and spiced black tea blend. While Christmas pudding is a favorite amongst many this cuppa won't take as long to brew as traditional Christmas pudding takes to make.

Yet this Christmas Pudding tea is filled with the same sweet fruits (apricots, raisins, and citrus) and spices (cinnamon & nutmeg). For your Downton Abbey fan's this will beat Mrs. Patmore's pudding any day!

Bold black tea blends up a dark earthy color. Notes of fruity, citrus, and spice notes from the dried fruits and cinnamon/nutmeg. A hint of sweetness from the licorice root.

Oolong, Darjeeling, Pu’erh, Cinnamon, Licorice Root, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Apricots, Raisins, Nutmeg, Hibiscus, Extracts

Full Size bags have: 25 to 30 Servings

Trial Size bags have: 8 to12 Servings (Not all flavors have trial size as an option)

Black Tea - Steep 1 tsp of tea per 6-8 oz of hot water (190°- 212°F) for 3-5 minutes for best results.

Store in an airtight container away from temperature extremes and sunlight.

CONTAINS TREE NUT EXTRACTIVES. Licorice root not to be used during pregnancy. Not for use in persons with hypertension, liver disorders, edema, severe kidney insufficiency, low blood potassium, heart disease with edema, or congestive heart failure.

Christmas Pudding Cocktail

Ingredients:

Syrup

  • ¼ cup Christmas Pudding Loose Leaf Tea
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup honey

Cocktail - makes 1

  • 1 oz Christmas Pudding syrup
  • 2 oz pure apple cider
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • Ginger beer, to top
  • Optional - 1 shot of Brandy

Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium heat add the water, tea, and honey. Bring to a simmer and remove from the heat. Let steep for about 5-10 minutes. Strain the tea. 

Make the cocktail by adding the syrup, apple cider, and fresh orange juice to a cocktail shaker. If using brandy, add in this step as well. 

Add a handful of ice and shake until chilled. Pour over ice in a serving mug and top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange, and cinnamon sticks for a festive cocktail!

Great flavors

I love the Farmhouse Teas blends. I will try a new flavor with the sampler and then buy a full bag if I like it. I keep buying more full bags!! Christmas Pudding and Country Christmas Breakfast teas have been my favorites and have bought second bags of both.

I can’t put my finger on what I didn’t like about this tea. While all the flavors blended well, it just wasn’t to my liking.

So glad I took the chance

I really enjoy trying seasonal teas, and wanted something very Christmassy. The name of this tea caught my attention, but there were some ingredients I wasn’t familiar with, and I have never had raisins in tea! I have had so many fun experiences trying new to me flavors created by this talented family, I knew I had to give this tea a shot. Opening the bag is a treat itself. The smell is absolutely delightful! The tea is surprisingly mild with a variety of flavors coming through. One sip may taste a bit more citrusy and the next reveals more spice. From start to finish this is a lovely tea!

A nice Christmas tea.

This is such a nice Christmas tea, but I’d like it anytime. I also enjoy making hot apple cider steeped with some of this tea. It’s so nice and cozy.
