Ginger Peach Tea Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 tsp Cottage Peach Rooibos Loose Leaf Tea
1 bag Frozen peaches
Fresh Ginger - to taste
Optional: Protein powder and milk of choice, additional fruits

Directions:

Step 1: Brew Tea: Cottage Peach Rooibos Tea - Steep 1 tsp of tea per 6-8 oz hot water (208° F) for 4-6 minutes for best results. Let cool.
Step 2: Grate ginger on a fine grater - can use as much as you like.
Step 3: Add frozen peaches to the blender (8 oz per serving). Then squeeze the grated ginger into the blender to extract the juice (you can use all of the grated ginger as is, but it will add more texture to the smoothie).
Step 4: Add the tea and blend the mixture. If the blender stops or seems to stick, add more tea. If the smoothie isn’t thick enough add more frozen peaches or some ice cubes. Pour into glasses & garnish with peach slices.
Optional additions: You can experiment with this recipe - add coconut milk or another plant milk before blending. Add other fruits, try pineapple or some raspberries. Add some protein powder to make it a meal.
