Pepper, Cayenne | Strictly Medicinal Seeds

Please note: Formerly called “Mboga,” we have renamed this African Cayenne due to its origin and its similarity to standard Cayenne. The main difference between a standard cayenne and African Cayenne is a bit larger and later maturing than standard Cayenne. Chop and serve with lime, tomato, onion and salt for a mild flavor. Grown in Pemba and Southern Oregon, these 2-foot tall plants bear thin, 3-inch peppers. Start indoors 40-50 days before last frost, space 2-feet apart and give full sun and scanty water.
This ancient 'spice' has traditional usages such as: livening up meals, getting your heart-pumping, aiding in the fight against bacterial invaders, and even used as a vermifuge! Also a great source of capsaicin.
