Made from Grade 18/8 Stainless steel this mesh tea strainer rests on top of a small teacup. Loose leaf tea is added to the strainer and hot water is poured over it as it infuses. These work best for large leaf loose teas rather than small leaf (chamomile, rooibos). It's also great for straining kombucha and making tinctures. We recommend a tea press for the smaller loose leaf teas.
Purchased this as a gift for a friend who scalded her fingertips pouring tea for us. She is a very experienced tea maker and pourer, but she gave her favorite tea strainer to a friend. She says it's perfect--the handle is long enough to prevent accidental splashes of boiling water.

This strainer is at a nice low-cost and fits perfectly in the top of most mugs. It allows the tiniest particles through, but does keep the bulk of your tea leaves out of your cup.
I have many little tea strainers; most you have to put the tea leaves in and screw the top on. This little strainer is great for making a good hot cuppa! Winter is coming on and that is my time for a good hot cuppa to enjoy in the morning!

This tool feels marvelous in your hand. The wood is smooth, the rivets are gorgeous, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do - divide dough cleanly and scrape your surface (bench) clean of floury bits. An absolute pleasure to use.
When I opened my Rooibos Chai, I could immediately smell the beautiful aroma of all the spices! I steeped the recommended 1 tsp in hot water and then added steamed milk and honey. This is by far the best chai I've made at home by far! The flavors were the perfect strength and so comforting. I'm excited to try the other blends I purchased! Love that they are organic and so fresh!
I have the set of 3 and they are in constant use. I use them to cover dough (everything from sourdough & yeast breads to waffles, tortillas, noodle, and cracker dough), salads, homemade fermented sodas, soaking beans and grains, etc. Anything that's not too messy! They save plastic waste and look good doing it. Washable right along with your flour sack towels.

I love this chunky mug. I love the fact that it's handmade and it keeps my tea hot longer than any other mug I own. I like to pre-warm it with hot water, pour it out and then pour fresh hot water to steep my tea. It is just the right size and shape to warm your hands on.
