Calendula (Calendula officinalis), a daisy family member native to western Asia, Europe, and the Mediterranean, produces bright golden-orange blossoms long valued for their versatility. With a mild floral taste and vibrant color, dried calendula flowers can be used in tea blends, baked goods, soups, and salads.

Beyond the kitchen, calendula petals have also been traditionally used as a natural yellow dye for cloth, wool, and craft projects, making them a colorful addition to both the homestead pantry and apothecary.

Ingredients: Organic Calendula

Are all of your ingredients organic?

We love providing herbs that are fresh, pure, and of the highest quality. Whenever possible, we source from small family farms that grow with care for the land. Some of our partners are USDA-certified organic, while others practice organic methods but choose not to certify due to the cost.

Because our own facility is not USDA-certified, we don’t label our finished products as “organic.” Instead, you’ll see “organic” noted in the ingredient lists when that particular ingredient was grown on a certified organic farm. We want to stay transparent while still offering you the cleanest, most responsibly grown ingredients we can find.

We’re grateful to support local growers, and we believe that when ingredients are raised with integrity, you can taste and feel the difference in every cup.

Herbs are legally sold by the ounce but often we get asked how many cups are in a bag.

This herb has an approximate average of 20 cups per pound.

Calendula flowers can be:

  • for a floral touch
