Black Tea - Steep 1 tsp of tea per 6-8 oz of hot water (190°- 212°F) for 3-5 minutes for best results.

Christmas Pudding Cocktail

Ingredients:

Syrup

  • ¼ cup Christmas Pudding Loose Leaf Tea
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup honey

Cocktail - makes 1

  • 1 oz Christmas Pudding syrup
  • 2 oz pure apple cider
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • Ginger beer, to top
  • Optional - 1 shot of Brandy

Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium heat add the water, tea, and honey. Bring to a simmer and remove from the heat. Let steep for about 5-10 minutes. Strain the tea. 

Make the cocktail by adding the syrup, apple cider, and fresh orange juice to a cocktail shaker. If using brandy, add in this step as well. 

Add a handful of ice and shake until chilled. Pour over ice in a serving mug and top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange, and cinnamon sticks for a festive cocktail!
