Known as the “Angel of Herbs,” Angelica root (Angelica archangelica) is part of the parsley, carrot, and fennel family. With a celery-like aroma and an earthy, herbal flavor, angelica has been used in kitchens for centuries as both a seasoning and a tea ingredient.

Brew it into herbal teas for a distinctive, savory note, or pair with herbs like licorice root to balance flavor in blends. It can also be simmered with bay leaf, onions, or root vegetables to add depth to soups, stews, and broths.

Packaged in bulk for the homestead kitchen, angelica root is a versatile pantry staple for both tea lovers and traditional cooks.

ASHWAGANDA

I made a tincture, which is not done yet. I also made a powder blend of ashwaganda, lavender, lemon balm, and chamomile. My daughter takes it in the morning and at night for anxiety and stress.
