Angelica (Angelica archangelica), aka the Angel of Herbs, is related to parsley, carrot and fennel. Infuse teas and seasonings with its celery-esque aroma and earthy flavor. Plus, mix angelica root with licorice root for some tea-riffic blends or simmer with bay leaf for soup & stew deliciousness.
Just a heads up: avoid consuming angelica during pregnancy and breast feeding. And, if you're taking anticoagulants, pass on this herb.
