Made from Grade 18/8 Stainless steel this mesh tea strainer rests on top of a small teacup. Loose leaf tea is added to the strainer and hot water is poured over it as it infuses. These work best for large leaf loose teas rather than small leaf (chamomile, rooibos). It's also great for straining kombucha and making tinctures. We recommend a tea press for the smaller loose leaf teas.
This strainer is at a nice low-cost and fits perfectly in the top of most mugs. It allows the tiniest particles through, but does keep the bulk of your tea leaves out of your cup.
I have many little tea strainers; most you have to put the tea leaves in and screw the top on. This little strainer is great for making a good hot cuppa! Winter is coming on and that is my time for a good hot cuppa to enjoy in the morning!

I ordered the three flavoring packs. Started with the root beer one and added it to my kombucha. We liked it! My husband said it tasted like sarsaparilla, which was what folks would drink before root beer. It reminded him of when he was a kid!

This tea is a great summer tea for hot days. Add a bit of sweetener and it’s a strawberry delight.
