Cilantro or Coriander (Coriandrum Sativum) Sow seeds in spring as soon as the soil is ready; break apart 2-seed spheres before planting. Germination can be slow in warm soils. Plant in furrows 2-3ft apart, cover, tamp down, water. Harvest leaves before flowering; sow successive crops 3 wks apart for fresh herb.
