When the seasons change and the air fills with pollen and dust, many homesteaders have long turned to traditional herbs for support. Our Sneezy Fits Tincture Mix brings together yerba santa leaf, stinging nettle, echinacea purpurea, elderflower, orange peel, and horseradish—plants that were commonly kept in farmhouse apothecaries when noses were runny and sneezes were frequent.

This “dump-and-go” blend makes it simple to craft your own heritage-inspired tincture at home. Each full-size bag (2.5 oz) contains enough herbs for one batch. Just place the mix in a clean glass jar, cover with 100-proof alcohol (or vegetable glycerine), steep for 2+ weeks, strain, and bottle. A simple, traditional way to keep your apothecary cupboard well-stocked during sneezy seasons.

Need in my life

I am SO GLAD that this is available! I'm still getting crazy allergies, and it is a bit too warm to be drinking my hot teas. This is going to be a lifesaver when it finishes tincturing <3

Sneezy Fits Tincture

I jumped in late...my tuincture has only been steeping since 4/24. But I am looking forward to using it! My sneezy fits are mostly from house dust, but pine pollen gets me too, so the tincture will be all ready for me before late June!

Sneezy fitz

Very straightforward to tincture. I did put all in blender after I put the alcohol in for more surface area to soak in. Just made the big pieces smaller not powdered.

Sneezy Fits

I just purchased this tincture, but haven’t used it yet as it’s just now steeping. It smells great, and, based upon the past tinctures that I have gotten from Farmhouse Teas, I look forward to it being as effective.

Spring Allergies. Hate Them!

My spring allergies are the worst this year as they have ever been. I am miserable. I saw this Sneezy Fits Tincture Mix and thought, "What the heck! Perhaps it might help!" It actually, really helped! I made a cup of tea when I first got it and drank it before bed that night. I actually slept the night through, without drainage, coughing and choking on mucus. The next day, my symptoms were less. The following night, I made a cup of tea again, and as I was drinking it, my husband asks what I was drinking. So, I told him. He is not one to take anything, but he was also suffering with allergies and was miserable. I told him how much it helped me the night before, and he ask if he could have some too! WOW! He was feeling really bad to ask for tea. I made him a cup and he drank it down. The next morning, he awoke with a smile. He said he felt good and actually got a good night's rest. That night, when I made myself another cup of tea, I made two. I set the cup of tea in front of my husband and without a word of complaint, he drank it down. Since then, our nightly cup of tea has worked wonders. We do still have some light symptoms now and then, but nothing like it was. This really worked for us.
