Brew Up a Batch in 3 Simple Steps!

Step 1 – Simmer the Mix
Add the Elderberry Mix Packet into a medium saucepan with 5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until the liquid has reduced by one-third.

Step 2 – Strain & Cool
Lightly mash the berries. Strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer, discarding the solids. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 3 – Sweeten & Store
Stir in ¾ to 1 cup raw honey and ¼ cup apple cider vinegar. Transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate for 4–6 weeks or freeze for longer storage. Makes approximately 1 quart of syrup.

Tips & Tricks

  • The recipe can be halved or quartered by dividing all ingredients accordingly.

  • Prepared elderberry syrup freezes well—pour into ice cube trays, freeze, and store cubes in zip-top bags for single-serve portions.

Elderberry Syrup Kit

This is my second order for this kit. It is easy to make and I love the flavor. Even my 4 year old great grandson will take it, and that gives me peace of mind, as it will help him from being sick so much.

Easy, Tasty, Effective

Elderberry “elixir” is great to have on hand when you feel something is coming on. Kicks it out of your system. I make this in small batches to always have on hand in the fridge. It’s very tasty and not hard to swallow at all.

Older vs Elder

As we are in the midst of cold and flu season, I thought it would be wise in my older years to make some Elderberry syrup. Taste great and hope to keep the germs at bay.
