Ingredients: Organic Mullein Leaf and Flowers

Are all of your ingredients organic?

Herbs are legally sold by the ounce but often we get asked how many cups are in a bag.

This herb has an approximate average of 8 cups per pound.

Cut & sifted mullein leaf can be:

    • Steeped as a soothing herbal tea
    • Added to custom tea blends with mint, licorice, or chamomile
    • Infused in oils for traditional salve-making
    • Used in topical washes or homemade herbal remedies

Store in an airtight container away from temperature extremes and sunlight.

    Leaves / Flowers

For culinary and external use only. Strain tea well before drinking to remove leaf hairs, which may be irritating. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before use if pregnant, nursing, or taking medications.

Mullein and Marshmallow Root Cough Syrup

I used these two herbs to make a cough syrup. I used a tablespoon of each along with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer on low for 15-20 minutes to reduce water by half. Strain the mixture, let it cool and add 1/2 to 1 cup raw honey. Pour into glass jar and store in the refrigerator. Take 1-2 Tbs. ever 4 to 6 hours. For children over 1 years old, give 1 to 2 teaspoons every 4 to 6 hours. Definitely helped the cough.

I use this product as a tea when I have sinus phlegm or chest congestion. It boots and strengthens the lungs. I steep 2 tablespoons in a cup of hot water using a tea strainer. Drink and enjoy!

    Wow! Wonderful tea!

Light pleasant tasting tea, similar to a Chamomile. I drink a cup first thing in the morning to aid in clearing my lungs as I have allergy induced asthma. Amazing way to start the day....breathing easier! I shared some with a friend and she RAVES about how it helped her to quickly recover from the crud.

Just what I was looking for!

I have been trying to find Mullein leaf as a stand alone tea, not in a blend. I was so happy to find farmhouse teas and make my purchase with them. I will be back!

    Excellent quality

I harvested my own mullein at home and it was nowhere close to the quality of FHT mullein. We use this to make cough syrup and in teas as well. Excellent quality!!!
