Made from Grade 18/8 Stainless steel this mesh tea strainer rests on top of a small teacup. Loose leaf tea is added to the strainer and hot water is poured over it as it infuses. These work best for large leaf loose teas rather than small leaf (chamomile, rooibos). It's also great for straining kombucha and making tinctures. We recommend a tea press for the smaller loose leaf teas.

This strainer is at a nice low-cost and fits perfectly in the top of most mugs. It allows the tiniest particles through, but does keep the bulk of your tea leaves out of your cup.
I have many little tea strainers; most you have to put the tea leaves in and screw the top on. This little strainer is great for making a good hot cuppa! Winter is coming on and that is my time for a good hot cuppa to enjoy in the morning!

My husband needs to take a medication which causes abdominal distress. These are the only peppermint leaves that we found to relieve this issue, and I have tried two other organic brands. My husband drinks a cup of peppermint tea in the morning and again at bedtime, and the discomfort is gone!
