Black Tea - Steep 1 tsp of tea per 6-8 oz of hot water (190°- 212°F) for 3-5 minutes for best results.

Lavender London Fog

Ingredients:

1 cup boiling-hot water
Farmhouse Teas - Cascade Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea - 1 tsp per 6oz -8oz serving
2 to 3 teaspoons honey (or your desired sweetener)
1/2 cup hot or chilled plain milk
Ice if serving cold

Directions:

Step 1: Brew the tea. Pour water over loose tea & steep for 3 to 5 minutes
Step 2: Froth the milk. While the tea is steeping, use a milk frother to froth the hot milk or warm in a pan until hot but not scalding.
Step 3: Remove/ strain tea leaves. Add your sweetener of choice & stir until dissolved.
Step 4: Pour hot/ frothed milk & garnish with a sprinkle of dried food grade/ culinary lavender, if desired.

The sample made two lovely London fogs (one hot and one iced). And just saying, when I tried with a big brand earl grey (admittedly over three years old, though) it tasted like soap until I drowned it with more simple syrup and milk.
