Lemon Peel (Citrus limon) brings a bright, zesty flavor and refreshing aroma to both kitchen and homestead projects. These cut and sifted peels deliver a concentrated citrus taste, making them a favorite for tea blends, baked goods, and herbal apothecary creations.

With its balance of sweetness and gentle bitterness, dried lemon peel pairs beautifully with other citrus fruits and herbs such as rosemary, peppermint, and chamomile. A versatile staple, it is just as at home in homemade bath products and soaps as it is in cakes, cookies, and marinades.

Ingredients: Organic Lemon Peel

Are all of your ingredients organic?

We love providing herbs that are fresh, pure, and of the highest quality. Whenever possible, we source from small family farms that grow with care for the land. Some of our partners are USDA-certified organic, while others practice organic methods but choose not to certify due to the cost.

Because our own facility is not USDA-certified, we don’t label our finished products as “organic.” Instead, you’ll see “organic” noted in the ingredient lists when that particular ingredient was grown on a certified organic farm. We want to stay transparent while still offering you the cleanest, most responsibly grown ingredients we can find.

We’re grateful to support local growers, and we believe that when ingredients are raised with integrity, you can taste and feel the difference in every cup.

Herbs are legally sold by the ounce but often we get asked how many cups are in a bag.

This herb has an approximate average of 5 cups per pound.

Lemon peel can be:

  • Steeped into tea or infusions on its own or with herbs like mint
  • Incorporated into baking and desserts
  • Used in spice blends or marinades for poultry, seafood, or veggies
  • Added to bath salts, scrubs, and soaps for aroma and refreshment

Store in an airtight container away from temperature extremes and sunlight.
