I didn't realize cold brewing was a thing until I saw this kit. It is so easy to use! I got the 1/2 gallon size. I'm enjoying cold tea every day now!

This was the first time I ever made cold brewed tea. It turned out really smooth tasting and surprisingly flavorful. I made Mason Jar Mint which I like to drink as an iced tea. My next tea is already in the fridge and it is Apple Cider Fixin which is a finer tea blend. Can't wait to try it!

I love this. I got one and was making so much tea I needed a second. They are great. Sturdy and work so well. They are both in the fridge constantly. They also clean easily. I highly recommend them!

I bought the quart size filter and absolutely love it. I made a cold brew tea using Pina Colada Sweet Tea. It was wonderful and refreshing to drink after sweating outside working. I look forward to making a lot more cold teas with different tea mixes.
I got the filter for the quart size-I am the only one in our household that likes iced tea. I could not believe how easy it was to make my tea; add put the filter in my Qt. jar, put in the amount of tea, add the water, and screw on the lid. (I buy lids on Amazon and it fits great, even with the filter.) And then just place it in the fridge. I come home to cold tea ready to drink. I do like to add some of my berry jam to it as sweetener :) I like it so much I have bought one for a friend and will probably buy more for others!

We are really enjoying the newest Fine Mesh Wide Mouth Mason Jar Filter for Cold Brew. We have been experimenting successfully with Farmhouse Teas Loose Leaf Southern Sweet Tea and adding frozen raspberries for a raspberry sweet tea. Today we are infusing frozen peaches. To solve the 'non dissolving sugar issue' typical of cold brew, we remove a few cups of water and heat till just about to boil, turn off heat and stir in 2/3 cup sugar and stir till dissolved, then add fruit to hot sugar water for around 15 minutes with lid on. Pour the sugar and fruit water into the filter on top of the tea leaves and finish filling with water. This is for a half gallon. We are still not able to use the silicon seals that are supposed to make it leak proof. Tried both on my 1/2 gallon mason jar, but the ring just pops up from the pressure the seal thickness adds. Other times, the lid screws on sideways and never sits right. So I use the regular metal jar flat and ring with no seal and remember not to shake the jar. Not sure how to maneuver this, but regardless, the tea is worth it.

In response to your difficulty with the seals, there are two seals included. The raised one is for the Brewing America Lid, and the regular seal is for any standard canning lid.
