Imagine walking amongst the lavender fields, brushing the lavender with your hand and inhaling the wonderful floral smells in the summer sun. This blend features lavender grown here in Oregon on Eagle Creek Farm. While not everyone can visit, it's possible to capture that goodness in your fizzy kombucha. Add the freshness of lemon and it makes for a relaxing blend of bubbly. Free of any flavorings, additives or chemicals and safe for flavoring your finished kombucha during a second fermentation. *AIP Diet and Paleo Compliant.

Organic Lemon Balm, Organic Lavender, Organic Lemon Peel

Add 1 tsp of flavoring to 16 ounces of fermented kombucha. Steep for 1-3 days and strain before drinking or storing.

Store in an airtight container away from temperature extremes and sunlight.

Kombucha Strawberry Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 16-20 oz Brewed Plain Kombucha
  • 2-3 tsp of Farmhouse Teas Lavender Lemon Kombucha flavoring
  • ½ lb strawberries, diced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Add the Lavender Lemon Kombucha Flavoring to your brewed plain kombucha. Let ferment for 1-2 days on the counter at room temperature.
  2. Once fermented, chill in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours before opening. Once chilled, strain the flavoring from the kombucha and reserve the now-flavored kombucha.
  3. Mash the strawberries with the honey. Stir in the lemon juice and water.
  4. Pour a generous amount of the strawberry mixture into the bottom of a serving glass.
  5. Fill the glass with ice and top with brewed lavender lemon kombucha.
  6. Stir and enjoy!

A Family Favorite

I thought I'd be the only one that liked this flavor but everyone in the family loves it. The lavender flavor is very subtle, just adding a depth to the crisp lemon flavor that's also not too tart. It's the perfect blend for a refreshing drink on warm weather days.
