Spearmint Leaf (Mentha spicata) has a naturally sweet, refreshing taste with a smooth minty finish. In this cut and sifted form, it’s easy to measure and blend for teas, kitchen recipes, or herbal projects.

Spearmint is widely used for herbal tea blends, flavoring in cooking and baking, and craft or apothecary applications such as sachets, infused oils, and soaps. It offers a gentler flavor than peppermint, making it a versatile choice for both sweet and savory recipes.

Everyday Uses on the Homestead

  • Brew as a standalone herbal tea or blend with other herbs

  • Mix into lemonade or iced tea for a refreshing drink

  • Add to candies, jellies, or desserts

  • Use in savory dishes, marinades, or sauces

  • Incorporate into potpourri, sachets, or soap making

Pro Tip: Try steeping spearmint with chamomile for a smooth, mild evening tea that the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients: Organic Spearmint

Are all of your ingredients organic?

We love providing herbs that are fresh, pure, and of the highest quality. Whenever possible, we source from small family farms that grow with care for the land. Some of our partners are USDA-certified organic, while others practice organic methods but choose not to certify due to the cost.

Because our own facility is not USDA-certified, we don’t label our finished products as “organic.” Instead, you’ll see “organic” noted in the ingredient lists when that particular ingredient was grown on a certified organic farm. We want to stay transparent while still offering you the cleanest, most responsibly grown ingredients we can find.

We’re grateful to support local growers, and we believe that when ingredients are raised with integrity, you can taste and feel the difference in every cup.

Herbs are legally sold by the ounce but often we get asked how many cups are in a bag.

This herb has an approximate average of 10 cups per pound.
