Native to Germany, this medium-rimmed plant is 3' tall—a must for any traditional herb garden. Grey-green leaves to release oils for an indispensable spice. Full sun and well-drained soil are needed: sow flat and barely cover with moist, warm earth for 10 days avg. until germination. After 2 sets of leaves appear, pot up seedlings and transplant for dried leaves by Thanksgiving. With persistent trimming, it can reach 6' wide; space plants 2-3' apart.

Is very good and saves alot of prep time to make the fire cider, all you do is mix in quart jar with raw vinegar, shake daily for 2weeks, strain and you have a great immunity booster.
