We don't need to save fire cider for any particular occasion to use or prepare it. Here at the farm, we like to use it as a strong and tasty salad dressing and even add it to a marinade for extra flavor. However, having some on hand during the cold and flu season is always a smart idea.

We like to mix this tonic with other light beverages, but we can just as easily take a neat teaspoon or two a day. If I find it supporting us well, I usually keep up on it more often to bowel tolerance. However, if you're prone to heartburn or have stomach ulcers, it's best to avoid fire cider as it will only exacerbate the issue.

Great Stuff!

I purchased the 16 oz. bag to share with family. While only a week into the “brewing” stage, I came down with the sniffles. Decided to try some fire cider even though it wasn’t quite finished. It was so soothing (yes, it’s hot- make sure to add honey & dilute with water!)! This will be my go-to for colds!
Thank you, CeAnne, for gathering quality ingredients into one mix. So easy to make!

They did it again

They had what I needed. Like many people I’m getting ready for cold & flu season and who do I turn to? FarmHouse Teas. I know they will have what I need and the quality will be great. CeAnne is ready and most willing to help with any questions you have or if you just need a boost of confidence, I know this for fact. I know that CeAnne, The Farmer and The Farm Crew work hard to offer top quality products for me and my family. I do trust their products and the info they are so willing to share. Again thank you CeAnne and The FarmHouse Crew.

Helps my cough in the morning

I have a cough in the morning that I have had for many years. When I ask CeAnne what might work, she suggested this. I drink it as a tea most mornings. I should try it with ACV. I am coughing much less! It seems to be from post nasal drip, but this sure helps!!! Also I use elder berry syrup when a cold might be coming on, or for travel! YEA! Works great!
Thank you!
Kathie
